Gold Pick Awards: A Night to Celebrate Impact

It was quite an evening at the 2018 Gold Pick Awards as PR pros from across the state gathered to celebrate incredible and impactful campaigns over the past year. More than 100 entries representing businesses, agencies and nonprofit organizations in Colorado were submitted this year; each judged on key metrics including research, planning, implementation and evaluation.
The evening’s Grand Gold Pick award went to ReMax LLC for its integrated communications work on the “Change is in the Air: ReMax Brand Refresh” campaign.
Taking home eight awards from the evening, Colorado State University received two Gold Pick awards in the Best Use of Social Stories category and a Gold Pick in Facebook Engagement. The university was also awarded Gold and Silver Picks in the Online Videos category and two Silver Picks for projects in the Media Relations Associations/Government/Nonprofit Organizations category. Their final award was a Silver Pick in the Event and Observances – More than Seven Days category.
Philosophy Communication took home six awards, including three Gold Picks in the following categories: Media Relations Associations/Government/Nonprofit Organizations, Annual Reports and Innovation in Customer Service. The firm also won three Silver Picks in Reputation/Brand Management, Community Relations, and Event and Observances - Seven or Fewer Days.
Metropolitan State University of Denver won four awards, including three Gold Picks in the Online Videos, Online Newsroom, and Magazine categories as well as a Silver Pick in the Executive Communications category.
WildRock Public Relations & Marketing also received four awards, taking home a Gold and Silver Pick in Media Relations Consumer Products. The firm was also awarded a Gold Pick in the Marketing – Consumer Services category and a Silver Pick in Content Marketing - Consumer Services.
B Public Relations took home a Gold Pick in Media Relations Consumer Products as well as Silver Picks in Crisis Communications and Integrated Communications.
Lola Red was awarded two Gold Picks, one in Media Relations Consumer Products and another in Marketing – Consumer Products.
Blake Communications received three Silver Pick awards, two in the Event and Observances categories and one in Twitter Engagement.
