Dustin Moody earns his APR
Dustin Moody, director of communications for the Denver Institute of Faith & Work, has earned his APR Accreditation.
“I decided to pursue my accreditation in public relations for a few reasons. Most of my experience is in the nonprofit or academic sector, and I saw the APR as an opportunity to learn more about communications in for-profit and public organizations,” stated Moody. “I serve as a director on for the Colorado chapter of PRSA, and I believe it's important for chapter leaders to elevate the status of the chapter and encourage members to pursue the credential.”
Dustin’s previous professional experience includes the University of Colorado Boulder and Wycliffe. He holds a bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Florida and is pursuing a Master of Arts in communication from the University of Colorado Denver. Through his graduate school advisor at CU Denver, he was able to count much of his APR work as credit toward his master's degree.
