Annual Media Roundtable and Shadow Day Luncheon

This year, the PRSA Colorado Chapter is combining its annual Media Roundtable with Shadow Day, another annual event where PRSA Colorado pairs college students with communications professionals throughout the Denver-metro area for a day of hands-on, on-the-job experience (On top of that, we’re co-hosting this event with the Colorado Health Communicators!).

Whether you’re a veteran communications professional, a young pro, or a student exploring a career in public relations the annual media roundtable is an opportunity to meet with some of the most important media resources covering national and local news. Hear what these editors, producers and reporters look for in a news story and how your ideas can stand out amidst the hundreds of pitches they receive each day. The format of the event also provides an excellent way to start building relationships with the media you want to cover your clients, companies and brands.

Chapter leaders and the membership committee will share details on chapter operations, opportunities for involvement and you’ll meet fellow new members. The best way to make the most of your membership is to get engaged.

Contact Megan Ryan, membership chair, at [email protected] with questions.

NOTE: If you are attending the luncheon with a student you are hosting, please register for yourself and your student. For the student, please select 3/16 Student and Young Pros. If you have any questions about Shadow Day, please contact Kaitlin Gault at [email protected].
